I think without Micah there would be a lot more we would take for granted. With the life threatening disease Micah has, God has shown us every day is a blessing and we NEED to make the most of every minute with him. Children are little angels sent for us to love and teach, encourage and glorify God no matter how long they are here.
About Me
Chelsea Marshall
I am a mom and a wife.I have a seven-year-old son Joseph and a four-year-old son Micah. Micah was born perfect in every way. On December 9, 2008 he was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy(SMA)Type 1 and this is the journey we all are on with him.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trial of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lack wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.
